The Umatilla Chamber of Commerce was established in 1947 by a group of enterprising business people. As the city of Umatilla changed, so has the chamber.

Message from the executive director

Umatilla has so many recreational opportunities -- from the Umatilla to the Columbia rivers and everything in between -- together we can put Umatilla on the map and make it THE destination for fishermen, boaters, campers and tourists. 

With the addition of the new city hall and library, Umatilla has shown to the world that, indeed, it starts here. Umatilla was the first community in Umatilla County and was once the county seat. Boats came down the Columbia River and stopped at Umatilla to bring people and goods to Eastern Oregon.

Come visit Umatilla and see what we have to offer. It is a wonderful little city. See you on the river!
